Web Design Terms and Conditions

Use of any of Spidas Web Design services (henceforth to be known as Spidas), is taken by Spidas to be acceptance of our Terms and Conditions as set out in this document.

Spidas reserves the right to refuse to publish, design or in any way be involved with material that we consider to be:

  1. Illegal, obscene or grossly offensive, racially motivated or that contains other content not deemed appropriate for publication on the Internet. The customer agrees tjat tjeu sjall not hold Spidas liable for losses (including loss of projected profits), costs or claims caused by website errors or omissions, or by failure of certain material to appear on the Internet on a given date. This includes, loss of data resulting from delays and/or service interruptions and the malfunction of equipment.
  2. Spidas considers it to be the customer's responsibility to ensure that pages and images published on a customer's behalf are not libellous and do not infringe copyright regulations or intellectual property rights. Furthermore, as such, Spidas cannot be held responsible for the customers failure to do so.
  3. Where Spidas has reason to believe that any website, webpage, text or image being hosted by us may be illegal or in breach of any of these terms and conditions, that website will be temporarily removed from our hosting service (until such time as further investigations can be carried out). If it is found to be illegal, the website will be permanently removed from our hosting. If after investigation, the website is found NOT to be illegal or in breach of our Terms and Conditions, then it will be immediately restored to normal service at no extra cost. NB. No reimbursements will be made for any period when a website, webpage, text or image are unavailable for this specific reason.
  4. Spidas reserves the right to terminate any contract for ongoing Internet Services ( i.e. hosting), upn giving the customer one months clear notice. No reason for this termination need be given.
  5. All initial orders for web site design projects are taken in good faith. Our usual payment schedule is 50% deposit payable at the time of ordering, followed by 25% at the end of the design phase and a final 25% after publication of the web site.
  6. Payment can only be accepted by cheque or PayPal. Whichever of these methods of payment you choose, preparatory work will be undertaken whilst the payment is being processed. You should allow 5-7 days for a cheque to clear. If at any stage, Spidas is informed of a problem with processing a payment, or a payment request is declined, any work in progress for that customer will be suspended immediaately until such time as the outstanding charge is paid in full. Refunds will be given by Spidas as and when deemed appropriate.
  7. Spidas reserves the right to suspend or withdraw services where customers have unsettled bills or overdue accounts. Cancellation of a project that occurs more than 30 days aftr the initial order date may incur cancellation charges. Spidas reserves the right to use examples of websites we have designed for promotional purposes.

Privacy Statement

Our customers privacy and satisfaction in our services is our prime concern; therefore under no circumstances will your details be leased, sold or imparted to a third party. Spidas will only use your details to communication with you about offers or improved services.
